Red Roof Inn announced this week the launch of a new brand extension — Red Roof Plus+.
Red Roof Inn, Columbus, Ohio, said Plus+ will be rolled out at approximately 30 properties across the U.S. in early 2014, including hotels in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. Red Roof Inn highlighted metrics based on the performance of select Red Roof Inn properties that had already installed the the brand’s NextGen design prototype, which all Plus+-tier properties must have, that showed an average occupancy of 70%, ADR of US$70.77 and RevPAR of US$49.52.
To differentiate from the Red Roof Inn tier, Plus+-tier properties will feature a Premium guestroom type, red canopies at select properties, enhanced LED lighting and a complimentary welcome snack box which contains bottled water, popcorn, orange juice, trail mix and two granola bars as well as in-room coffee/tea, an iron and ironing board, mini-fridge and microwave. Guests will also enjoy enhanced in-room communication and an additional pillow.
