Whitbread, Dunstable, England, signed an agreement with Action Hotels, Dubai, United Arab Emirates to manage four hotels under its Premier Inn brand.
Action Hotels plans to invest about 378 million dirham (US$102 million) over the course of the next two years to build and develop the new hotels.
The hotels will include:
- the 166-room Premier Inn Sharjah King Faisal Road, opening in late 2014
- the 100-room Premier Inn Jeddah, located in the Modon industrial area and opening in 2015
- the 119-bedroom Premier Inn Bahrain, located in the Diplomatic Area and opening in 2015
- the 245-room Premier Inn Dubai Healthcare City, opening in 2016
“Premier Inn already has five hotels operating in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and the brand is proving very popular with customers who are looking for great value accommodation and a great quality product.
