Wyndham Hotels & Resorts promoted its treasurer and executive vice president, Michele Allen, to chief financial officer. Allen succeeded David Wyshner, who chose to step down from his position, moving into a senior advisory role until March 1, 2020.
Allen, who began her career at Deloitte & Touche, is a 20-year veteran of Wyndham Hotels, Wyndham Worldwide and Cendant Corporation. She served as global senior vice president of finance and controller for the former Wyndham Hotel Group, and senior vice president of finance for Wyndham Worldwide. Since the spinoff, she has helped develop the finance organization’s leadership talent, while also driving the first six quarters of Wyndham’s execution as a new public company.
In other news, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts also appointed its deputy treasurer, Barry Goldschmidt, to treasurer.

The Benson Hotel in Portland, Oregon, named Jennifer Bradshaw corporate group sales manager. Bradshaw comes to the property from Wild Bill’s NW where she worked for three years as an event, marketing and sales lead coordinator.
Martin Brehm is general manager of the Maxx by Steigenberger Bad Honnef in Bad Honnef, Germany. He formerly was director of human resources and third managing director at the Radisson Blu Hotel Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany.
Remington Hotels promoted Sloan Dean from chief operating officer to chief executive officer and president, and Stan Kennedy from senior vice president, operations to chief operating officer. The firm also appointed Jarrad Evans chief investment officer.
Oyo Homes & Hotels named Aditya Ghosh to its board of directors. Ghosh formerly was chief executive officer, India and South Asia for the hotels and homes business. Rohit Kapoor, formerly chief executive officer, new real estate businesses, is now chief executive officer, India and South Asia.
Garden of the Gods Resort and Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado, appointed Thomas Hartwell executive chef and Chris Karpov director of front office. Most recently, Hartwell served as chef de cuisine at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, Nevada. Karpov was director of front office operations at Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego.
Philipp Kehder is general manager of the IntercityHotel Freiburg in Freiburg, Germany. Kehder most recently was general manager of the Holiday Inn Express Ringsheim in Ringsheim, Germany. The previous director, Henri Fritz, will continue to support the company as an advisor.
Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico, named Roberto Mosquera general manager. Mosquera has more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry.
Dorchester Collection appointed Emma Parfitt area director of marketing communications for its three United Kingdom hotels — the Dorchester and 45 Park Lane in London, and Coworth Park in Ascot. Parfitt most recently was director of marketing communications at the Savoy, London, where she spent six years.
Kempinski Hotels appointed Christophe Piffaretti chief development officer and member of the management board. He joined Kempinski from his previous position leading two real estate investment funds for Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he was responsible for a portfolio of more than 150 properties in Switzerland, including several hotels as well as senior living, campus and residential properties.
Auberge Resorts Collection appointed Roger Ponce general manager of Chileno Bay Resort & Residences in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as well as regional vice president, Latin America. Ponce previously worked in Mexico at The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, and most recently was general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.
Red Lion Hotels Corporation appointed John Russell, Jr. interim chief executive officer. Russell, who has 40 years of hospitality experience, most recently was president and chief operating officer with Sentry Hospitality.
Kempinski Hotels appointed Melissa Salibi chief human resources officer and member of the management board. In 2015, Salibi joined Kempinski’s Dubai Regional Office in the United Arab Emirates as regional director of human resources Middle East and Africa. Earlier this year, she was promoted to senior director of human resources, Middle East and Africa
Noelle, a boutique hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, appointed Meagan Stout executive chef and Troy Tipton head pastry chef. Stout has 13 years of experience, including time as sous chef at Breslin Bar & Dining Room, a Michelin-starred restaurant in New York City, and as pastry chef at The Adolphus Hotel’s The French Room and at Sachet in Dallas. Tipton previously was complex pastry chef at W Hotel Bellevue and The Westin Bellevue in Bellevue, Washington.
JW Marriott Marco Island in Marco Island, Florida, promoted Tracy Tirrell from destination sales executive to the resort’s senior marketing manager. In 1997, she began her career at the resort as a front desk associate.
Oetker Collection appointed Aleksandra Vukojevic managing director at Jumby Bay Island in St. John’s Antigua. Vukojevic joined Oetker Collection in 2014 to lead project management for the opening of Palácio Tangará in São Paulo, Brazil.
Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in the Cayman Islands named Jim Wrigley beverage manager of the resort’s food and beverage outlets. Wrigley had been bar operations manager for London, England-based Bourne & Hollingsworth Group.
