People on the Move: Wyndham, CBRE, Kempinski

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the Parsippany, New Jersey-based hotel franchising company with approximately 9,000 hotels in over 95 countries, has welcomed Stacey Nadolny as senior vice president, franchise sales and development. 

Nadolny will be responsible for the overall development of Wyndham’s lifestyle and full-service brands, building on existing relationships developed throughout her career, in addition to creating new connections with key clients. 

“With more than 15 years of hospitality experience, Nadolny brings her expertise of U.S. hotel markets and passion as a leader, mentor and advocate, especially in advancing women in hospitality and real estate,” said Chip Ohlsson, chief development officer, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. “Nadolny’s leadership will help us continue making headway in removing industry roadblocks, ensuring all voices have a seat at the table, and contribute to the momentum in driving critical programs that promote diversity in ownership including Women Own the Room and BOLD by Wyndham.” 

Most recently, Nadolny served as managing director and senior partner at HVS Consulting and Valuation, Johnstown, Colorado, where she was one of the leading expert hotel appraisers and consultants in the country.

Corporate Management 

CBRE, Dallas, Texas, has appointed Bill Grice as president for CBRE Hotels in the U.S. Grice joined CBRE in 2020 and was most recently co-head of hospitality capital markets. 

Enchantment Group, Scottsdale, Arizona, has promoted Alex Kim to chief executive officer. Kim has been president of the group for more than two years. 

General Managers and Managing Directors 

Susurros del Corazón, Auberge Resorts Collection, Punta de Mita, Mexico, has appointed Jose Adames as general manager. Most recently, Adames served as general manager of Four Seasons Resort Anguilla. 

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, Colorado, has appointed Jack Akai as director of human resources. Akai joined from Breckenridge, Colorado, where he served as the director of human resources for a local utility repair company. 

The Peninsula Beijing, China, has selected Cameron Cundle as general manager. Cundle most recently served as hotel manager of The Peninsula Bangkok, Thailand. 

Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, has welcomed Andrew Economon as general manager. Economon’s previous experience was as vice president of hospitality, Hard Rock International Hotel & Casino in Sacramento, California. 

The Woodstock Inn & Resort, Vermont, has chosen Judy Geiger as the director of human resources. Previously, Geiger held the same role at Killington/Pico Ski Resort, also in Vermont. 

Senna House, Curio Collection by Hilton, Scottsdale, Arizona, has welcomed Kevin Gilbert as general manager. Gilbert has held other roles within the Hilton family, including director of catering, director of food and beverage, director of operations and rooms director. 

Paul Hartmann has been selected as general manager of Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island, Georgia.  Hartmann has worked with New Castle Hotels & Resorts, Ridgefield, Connecticut, for the past six years at The Westin Jekyll Island, most recently serving as director of operations.    

Watermark Beach Resort, Osoyoos, Canada, has welcomed David McBean as general manager. Most recently, McBean held the director of operations role at Spirit Ridge, Unbound Collection by Hyatt, in Osoyoos. 

Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity, India, has selected Vikas Mittar as director of finance and Masihuzzaman Siddiqui as director of engineering. Mittar is an expert in directing fiscal planning, having worked with international operators like Marriott International, Accor, IHG and Radisson for pre-opening and operational hotels. Siddiqui has worked with hotel chains like St. Regis Mumbai and Hilton Mumbai, India. 

Silvia Rajniak has been welcomed to Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay, Egypt, as general manager. Rajniak has been with Kempinski Hotels since 2009, most recently in Ghana, where she worked as hotel manager at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra. 

Waldorf Astoria Cancun, Mexico, has announced George Stanfield as managing director. Previously, he served as general manager at Hilton Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

Operations 

Griffin Stafford Hospitality, Charlotte, North Carolina, has promoted Owen Parker to regional operations director. Previously, Parker served as general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Concord. 

Food & Beverage 

Aspen Meadows Resort, Colorado, has named J.D. Baldridge as its new executive chef. Baldridge was most recently chef/partner with High Altitude Hospitality, where he brought his cuisine into homes and event spaces throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado. 

Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, has selected Martin Becquart as executive chef. Becquart brings nearly three decades of experience to his new role, working in renowned kitchens in Europe, South America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, the U.S. and Asia. 

Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, Florida, has appointed Justin Crum as chef de cuisine. Crum was most recently chef de cuisine at the Reunion Resort & Golf Club in Central Florida. 

Omni Mount Washington Resort, Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, has appointed Daniel DeFusco as executive chef. Most recently, he was part of the culinary team at Marriott Meadow View Conference Resort & Convention Center, Kingsport, Tennessee.  

Kingsmill Resort, Williamsburg, Virginia, has welcomed Mark Florimonte as executive chef. Most recently, Florimonte served as the campus executive chef for the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. 

Ritz-Carlton, Boston, Massachusetts, has welcomed Christopher Goluszka as pastry chef. Goluszka most recently served as head baker and pastry chef at The South End Buttery, Boston.  

SAii Laguna Phuket, Thailand, has selected Amit Gusain as chef de cuisine. Most recently, he was chef de cuisine at Avani+ Khao Lak Resort, also in Thailand. 

Hay Creek Hotels, Exeter, New Hampshire, has welcomed Josh Hamlin as director of food and beverage at Hotel Hartness in Greenville, South Carolina. Hamlin most recently worked as complex director of food and beverage at Spring Hill Suites Marriott & Towneplace Suites in Winter Garden, Florida. 

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa, San Antonio, Texas, has welcomed Amit Pandey as chef de cuisine. Pandey has held leadership culinary roles at Texas-based hotels including the Sheraton Gunter Hotel and Horseshoe Bay Resort. 

Alma Resort, Cam Ranh, Vietnam, has appointed two directors of food and beverage: Doan Pham Anh Tu as director of food and beverage (outlets operation), and Nguyen Huy Cuong as director of food and beverage (MICE and food and beverage sales). Both Tu and Cuong had been assistant food and beverage directors at Alma before their promotions. 

Kimpton Hotel Fontenot, New Orleans, Louisiana, has chosen Samuel Peery as executive chef. Chef Peery previously worked as chef de cuisine at the Restaurant R’evolution in the Royal Sonesta Hotel, also in New Orleans.  

Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort, Curazao, has appointed Eric Sala as executive chef and Martijn Liebregts as sous chef. Sala joined from the Intercontinental Hotel San Jose, Costa Rica, where he managed five restaurants and two convention centers, while Liebregts has eight years of chef experience, including a position at a Michelin-starred concept. 

Sales & Marketing 

Suncadia Resort, Cle Elum, Washington, has welcomed Sharon Gabriel as director of sales and Michele Oliveri as national sales manager. Gabriel most recently worked at Napa Valley Marriott, California, as senior sales manager and director of group sales, while Oliveri served as community association manager at The Management Trust, Seattle, Washington. 

Kori Kineshanko has joined Senna House, Curio Collection by Hilton, Scottsdale, Arizona, as director of sales and marketing. Kineshanko previously served as director of sales and marketing at Luxury Golf Resort Troon, Oregon.  

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, Colorado, has appointed Reese Lee as associate director of sales and events. Lee most recently was the associate director of sales for the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort and Spa, Nevada. 

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, California, has appointed Casper Van Eldik Thieme as the property’s director of sales and marketing. Most recently, van Eldik Thieme served as the director of sales, marketing and events at Grand Hyatt at SFO, San Francisco, California. 

Spa and Wellness 

Miramonte Resort & Spa, Indian Wells, California, has appointed Kevin Barnes as general manager. Most recently, Barnes served as the general manager of the Redbury New York. 

Four Seasons Resort Lanai, Hawaii, has appointed Lacey Matsumoto as the resort’s new spa director. Most recently, Matsumoto served as assistant director of spa and wellness at Grand Wailea Maui, also in Hawaii.  

Woodside Hotel Group has appointed Qadiri Zebrowski as the director of wellness at Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa, California. Previously, Zebrowski was the spa manager for Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa in Sausalito, California, co-director of The Shifayat & Sufi Healing Order, in Richmond, Virginia, and a healing arts assistant manager for the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. 

Others 

Davidson Hospitality Group, Atlanta, Georgia, has selected Staci Patton as creative director. Patton founded and led a hospitality interiors studio as principal and hospitality director at DLR Group, Omaha, Nebraska. Recently, her work extended to strategic brand design development for Hilton and Sonesta Hotels. 

Vakkaru Maldives has appointed Diana Vergara as the new resident marine biologist to enhance guest experiences and the resort’s marine biology programs. Vergara graduated from Fluminese Federal University in Niteroi, Brazil, with a master’s degree in marine biology and coastal environments.
