REMINGTON WELCOMES EVP & VP OF OPERATIONS

Remington Hospitality has announced the addition of Greg Nurse as executive vice president of operations and David Hiatt as vice president of operations.

As executive vice president of operations, Nurse will oversee strategic initiatives to enhance Remington’s operational impact, focusing on expanding relationships with ownership groups and brands. With extensive experience operating various brands globally and domestically—including working with private equity firms and independent owners—Nurse brings a broad perspective on hospitality management.

With more than 30 years in the industry—including leadership roles at Western States Lodging and Management and Schulte Hospitality—Hiatt brings extensive experience in hotel operations, owner relations and team development to his new role.

TRINITY INVESTMENT’S LATEST PROMOTION

Trinity Investments announced today the promotion of Craig Lovett to managing director of development. Lovett joined Trinity in 2017 as vice president of development and was promoted to senior vice president of development in 2022. Since then, he has been responsible for the repositioning of all of Trinity’s properties and has completed over $750 million in capital projects across the portfolio. Now, Lovett will continue to lead all planning, design and construction of the company’s acquisitions and existing portfolio.

“Craig has proven himself to be the best design and construction executive in the industry and has been an integral part of Trinity’s growth and success,” said Greg Dickhens, principal and managing partner at Trinity Investments. “There is no one I trust more than Craig to conceptualize and deliver projects at the level Trinity and our partners expect.”

Hilton Anatole has appointed Josh Franklin as director of wellness and recreation. In his new role, Franklin will oversee all wellness, recreation and fitness operations and initiatives, including the JadeWaters Resort Pool Complex and Verandah Athletic Club & Spa. Franklin joins the Hilton Anatole following leadership roles at Reynolds Outfitters at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee and Hotel del Coronado.

Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, the luxury resort located in Montalcino, Tuscany, has promoted Nicola Migheli, formerly the hotel’s manager, as managing director. Migheli brings over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, having held leadership positions such as director of operations at JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa, his last role before joining Rosewood in 2023. 

Luxury urban retreat Hotel Arts Barcelona has appointed Renato De Oliveira as general manager. With a two-decade career in the hospitality industry, De Oliveira brings extensive expertise in the Ritz-Carlton brand to his new role.

De Oliveira’s history with the Hotel Arts Barcelona began in 2004 as an intern and then as assistant director of the Rooms Division. Since then, he assumed the role of executive assistant manager, Rooms Division at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong. He later held various senior leadership positions at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia. Most recently, De Oliveira served as the general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Maldives, Fari Islands.

Robert Nokley has been appointed general manager at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village. Nokley’s journey with Marriott spans over 10 years and includes roles at properties like the Luminary Hotel & Co., Autograph Collection and the JW Marriott Las Vegas.
