Peachtree Group has promoted Vickie Callahan to president of the firm’s hospitality management division. In her new role, Callahan will oversee the company’s portfolio of owned and third-party managed hotels, totaling 88 hotels across 27 brands and 11,173 rooms in 23 states and Washington, D.C.
“Since joining us in 2020 as senior vice president of revenue generation, Vickie has been an invaluable member of our team,” said Greg Friedman, managing principal and CEO of Peachtree Group. “Vickie has successfully guided us through the pandemic’s challenges with her strategic insights and ability to optimize our hotel revenues. Vickie’s leadership will continue to be crucial as we navigate the evolving travel and hospitality landscape and deliver exceptional value to our guests and stakeholders.”
A 25-plus-year hospitality veteran, Callahan previously held vice president of revenue management positions with Atrium Hospitality and JQH Hotels. At the latter, she was responsible for developing a multi-branded revenue management platform. Before that, she held various sales, marketing and revenue management executive committee positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Callahan is also part of the Marriott Revenue Management Franchise Advisory Board.
Hard Rock International has announced the promotion of Frank Chesky to executive vice president & chief legal officer.
Chesky has been practicing law for nearly 25 years, specializing in gaming law for the last 14 years. He joined Hard Rock in 2017 as the vice president and general counsel for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, responsible for spearheading legal, compliance, regulatory and risk management functions for the property. In 2021, he was promoted to vice president and deputy general counsel, joining the Seminole Hard Rock Support Services team. He assumed the role of interim general counsel in 2023.
“We’re thrilled to recognize Frank and see him take on a bigger leadership role after seven years of providing his legal and business expertise to Hard Rock International and other sectors of our business, most recently as our Interim General Counsel,” said Jon Lucas, chief operating officer of Hard Rock International.

Virgin Hotels New Orleans has appointed Jesse Carr as director of food & beverage. Carr has held various positions at renowned places throughout Louisiana, from general manager at Jewel of the South and F&B Director for QED Hospitality and Pontchartrain Hotel to overseeing operations at Covington’s Tchefuncte and The Anchor. Most recently, Carr was director of food & beverage at The Eliza Jane, one of New Orleans’ downtown luxury hotels.
Minor Hotels has appointed Richard Beh as vice president commercial – Asia. In his new role in Bangkok, Thailand, Beh will report directly to Puneet Dhawan, head of Asia, and Ian Di Tullio, chief commercial officer for Minor Hotels. Before joining Minor Hotels, Beh served as global vice president, hotel chains at Trip.com, a multinational travel service conglomerate.
Some of Beh’s previous positions include area director of sales & marketing (North China), area director of sales & marketing (China) for The Ritz-Carlton in 2014 and vice president of sales and distribution for Shangri-La Group.
The Davenport Hotel Collection, a portfolio of five upscale hotels in Spokane, Washington, has welcomed Melissa Green as new vice president & area managing director. Green will now oversee The Davenport Hotel, The Davenport Grand, The Davenport Tower, The Davenport Lusso and The Centennial.
Green most recently served as area general manager at Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge & Hotel Viking. Previously, she held general manager roles at Hyatt and Marriott and has experience in catering, events, food, beverage and operations.
King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort in Hawai’i has appointed Revell Newton as its new general manager. Formerly the director of sales and marketing at the property for the past year, Newton brings over 25 years of industry experience to his new leadership role.
Before joining King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort, Newton held key leadership roles at luxury resorts across Oahu, Kauai and Maui, including general manager of Aqua-Aston Hospitality and vice president of sales, marketing and business development at Castle Hospitality Group.
Access Point Financial (APF), a direct capital provider focused on the hospitality industry, has announced the appointment of Daniel Zagoria as managing director, business development.
Zagoria brings over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a background in investment sales, private equity and structured finance. Before joining APF, Zagoria held positions in New York City, advising high-profile clients and institutions across the real estate, television, insurance and music industries.
