People on the Move: Concord Hospitality, One&Only Resorts, KSL Resorts, The Inn at Little Washington, Auberge Resorts

DOUBLE VPs AT CONCORD HOSPITALITY

Concord Hospitality has promoted Andy Burch and Ben Haller to senior vice president of operations to assist and oversee the company’s expanding portfolio.

A hospitality veteran of over 30 years, Andy Burch joined the company in 1997. His experience includes working in full service, select service, extended stay and lifestyle brands, such as Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, Hilton and Choice properties. With his recent promotion, Burch will oversee the opening and expansion of Concord’s new hotels across the company’s portfolio.

In addition, Ben Haller has also been promoted from regional vice president to senior vice president of operations. In his 26 years in hospitality, Haler has worked in over 60 different hotels across the United States, with experience in acquisitions, divestitures, resorts, airport hotels, suburban hotels and independent golf resort conference centers.

NEW MOVES AT ONE&ONLY

One&Only Resorts has promoted Sergio Pereira as regional managing director of Americas, overseeing strategic development for the brand’s portfolio in North America. Pereira joined Kerzner International, the owner of One&Only Resorts, in 2017 as resort manager at Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in Morocco before being appointed general manager for the resort in 2019 and then promoted to oversee One&Only Palmilla in 2021.

Serge Ditesheim has been appointed general manager at One&Only Moonlight Basin, currently under development in Montana, set to open in Winter 2024/2025. Ditesheim is joining the resort from One&Only Mandarina in Mexico, where he oversaw the opening of the resort in 2019. Before joining Kerzner, he held multiple general manager positions in Vietnam and the West Indies while working for Aman Resorts and Azerai Resorts.

Leading One&Only Mandarina as general manager is Nicolas Cejas, who began his journey with Kerzner International in 2021 when he joined One&Only Palmilla in Mexico as hotel manager. In the new role, Cejas started his career in international hospitality in 2001 with Starwood Hotels & Resorts / Marriott International, spanning various departments and key positions, including front office manager, director of rooms, hotel manager, and executive assistant manager of rooms, working with notable brands, including St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton.

MORE MOVES

KSL Resorts has named Dhruv Jain as director of investments and business development. In his new position, Jain will manage the deal flow and underwriting to help grow and diversify KSL Resorts’ portfolio.

Jain was most recently vice president of Stratton Road Realty, overseeing the entire investment management process from sourcing, underwriting and acquisition due diligence to asset management and disposition for the Orange County-based real estate solutions company. He was vice president of investments at Skeiron Real Estate – where he oversaw the acquisition of 15 hotels nationwide – as well as a hospitality investment consultant for REVPAR International and a food and beverage manager for Trump International Hotel & Tower.

The Inn at Little Washington has appointed Edward Gannon as general manager. In this position, he will oversee all operations at the Relais & Chateaux Escape, including its 23 guest accommodations, luxury suites and three Michelin-starred restaurants.

Gannon joins The Inn at Little Washington after a long tenure with Four Seasons Resorts, recently serving as general manager at both Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole and Four Seasons Resort Nevis. Following his time at Four Seasons, Gannon most recently served as general manager of Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection in the Napa Valley. Gannon has additionally held leadership positions at luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, from Rosewood Hotels and Resorts’ Jumby Bay in Antigua to Caneel Bay in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Winnetu Oceanside Resort in Martha’s Vineyard and Rosewood’s Sand Hill property in Menlo Park, Calif.

Auberge Resorts Collection has named Vivianne Garcia-Tunon the new global vice president of wellbeing, affirming its commitment to offering wellness experiences to guests. With over 25 years of experience, Garcia-Tunon has led operations and development as senior vice president at THE WELL and brought other projects to life through her independent consultancy business. At THE WELL, Garcia-Tunon oversaw the direction, expansion and operations of the first membership-based wellness club of its kind. Garcia-Tunon has worked with luxury hospitality brands, such as The Peninsula, One&Only, Four Seasons and GHM, in addition to the Auberge Resorts Collection.
