NEW CFO AT KEMPINSKI HOTELS

Kempinski Hotels has appointed Stuart Dickie as chief financial officer and member of the management board.

From 2000 to 2009, Dickie worked as director of corporate finance at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, based in Hong Kong, before he was appointed chief financial officer for the luxury hotel company. Later, he joined Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in the same role for four years. In his earlier career, Dickie was a senior manager at PWC in Hong Kong.

“We are excited to welcome Stuart to his new role,” said René Nijhof, chairman of the board of directors of Kempinski Hotels. “Stuart brings with him a wealth of global financial expertise and a proven track in similar positions in the international hotel business. We are convinced that with his in-depth experience, he will provide strong financial leadership as we continue to build our company story.”

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, an owner and management company and division of The Marcus Corporation, has appointed Kevin Miller as general manager of The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel.

Miller most recently served as director of hotel operations at the Sheraton Overland Park at the Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Before this role, Miller served as director of hotel operations for Marriott Overland Park and Renaissance Vancouver Harbourside in Vancouver, British Columbia. His hospitality experience also includes a variety of roles at properties throughout the United States and Canada.

The Nautilus Maldives, a luxury resort in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, has announced Pietro Addis as its new general manager. Bringing over 20 years of experience in high-end luxury operations, Addis previously worked with COMO Hotels & Resorts and Aman Resorts, among others. He also led the redesign of F&B concepts in Mandarin Oriental Canouan.

Expotel Hospitality, a hotel owner, developer and manager company, announced the appointment of Brent Baudier to serve as its vice president of food & beverage and hospitality.

Baudier has over 20 years of executive-level experience in the hospitality industry, including resorts, private clubs and restaurants. He has served both the PGA TOUR and the PGA of America, focusing on the operations of their respective portfolio of properties. After stewarding the F&B renovation and rebranding efforts for the PGA TOUR’s flagship resort, TPC Sawgrass, he was promoted to senior director of food & beverage for the PGA TOUR’s Resort Destination Properties in North America. There, he focused on strategic and operational F&B management, rebranding efforts, concept development and Tournament Operations for the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network.

Dusit International, the Thailand-based hotel and property development company, has appointed Adrian Rudin as managing director of the reimagined flagship Dusit Thani Bangkok, set to open in mid-2024, and Dusit Residences.

Rudin brings over three decades of experience in luxury hotels, having worked in Shangri-La and Kempinski Hotels, among others. Some of his positions include hotel manager of Shangri-La Singapore, general manager of Traders Hotel in Singapore and opening general manager of Shangri-La properties in Abu Dhabi and Beijing.

Before joining Dusit, he served as general manager of Sindhorn Bangkok Kempinski and vice president of operations for China and Southeast Asia at Kempinski Hotels.
