CONCORD APPOINTS NEW COO
Concord Hospitality has appointed Will Loughran as its new chief operating officer, effective April 22. Loughran will report to Concord Hospitality president & chief executive officer Mark Laport and succeeds Nick Kellock, who will retire in May after more than 15 years with the company.
“Will’s extensive knowledge of the industry and expertise across full-service, premium select-service, and extended stay will only further boost our organization’s continued growth and success,” explains Laport. “We are delighted to welcome Will to the Concord Hospitality team and believe his expertise will help us to further improve our operation excellence as we continue to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests, team members and neighbors.”
Loughran joins Concord Hospitality from Evolution Hospitality, where served as president & CEO for the past few years, having joined the company as chief operating officer in 2015. Before his role at Evolution Hospitality, Loughran served as president at Richfield Hospitality, overseeing hotel operations in over 30 countries. He also spent six years at Sage Hospitality Resources as vice president of revenue, spearheading the creation of the first Sage Sales and Revenue Summit. Loughran started his career at Marriott International where he held multiple leadership positions over his nearly two decades-long tenure.
AIMBRIDGE WELCOMES BACK PREVIOUS CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER
After a short stint away from Aimbridge Hospitality, Greg Moundas has returned to the company to his previous role as chief legal officer. Moundas brings a profound understanding of Aimbridge’s business model after spending more than a decade helping the company’s growth, including overseeing the integration of Interstate.
Moundas first joined Aimbridge in 2011, holding various legal positions and serving as general counsel/chief legal officer for more than a decade before he departed for a chief growth officer and partner role with Mayfair Management Group.

OETKER COLLECTION’S FIRST US PROPERTY MANAGING DIRECTOR
Oetker Collection has appointed Emanuela Setterberg Di Vivo as the managing director of its first North American hotel, The Vineta, which will open in Q4 2024.
Setterberg Di Vivo has worked for renowned international hotel brands, including Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Bulgari Hotels, Ferragamo, Rosewood, Dorchester Collection and One&Only. Most recently, Setterberg Di Vivo was the general manager of One&Only The Palm in Dubai.

Waldorf Astoria Chicago has appointed Ashley Ochse as the new director of sales & marketing. Ochse brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and previously served as the director and complex director of catering sales & event management at Waldorf Astoria Chicago from December 2013 to January 2017.
Most recently, she served as the director of sales, group & catering at The St. Regis Chicago, where she was a part of the hotel’s opening team.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the appointment of Antonio Fungairino as head of Inclusive Collection development for the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region. Fungairino, who previously served as the vice president of development for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, reports to Camilo Bolaños, Hyatt’s senior vice president of development for the LAC region.
In his new role, Fungairino will lead the development strategy for the Inclusive Collection’s 10 distinctive resort brands to strengthen Hyatt’s brand presence throughout the region.
Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown, set to debut in the summer of 2024, has appointed Chase Chasteen as general manager and Dawn Freeman as the director of sales.
Chasteen boasts an extensive 17-year tenure in the hospitality industry, marking Le Meridien Fort Worth Downtown as his ninth full-service hotel and sixth under the Marriott brand.
Freeman joins Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown from SMI Hotel Group, where she also served as director of sales & marketing. Additionally, she served as director of sales at Le Méridien Dallas by the Galleria.
