TENNIS LEGEND MARIA SHARAPOVA JOINS AMAN

Aman has announced a multi-year partnership with former elite athlete Maria Sharapova, the first of its kind for the brand. Sharapova will be the new global wellness ambassador for Aman and will co-create a series of wellness retreats across different Aman properties, focusing on preparation, performance and recovery to encompass body and mind.

The first of these retreats will be held at Amanpuri, Aman’s flagship property on its own private peninsula on Phuket’s west coast. Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, Amanpuri will offer guests a personalized wellness journey in February 2024 hosted by Sharapova. The three-night Performance and Recovery retreat will see Sharapova curate and mentor participants through a series of interactive experiences and activities, as well as informative Q&A sessions with her and experts she has worked with during her 20-year career as an elite athlete. The retreat includes accommodation, full board (excluding alcoholic beverages) and a detailed wellness itinerary.

At Aman New York, a half-day Strength & Recovery retreat has been designed by Sharapova, available from September 9. The half-day itinerary includes an optimized performance breakfast menu at Arva developed in partnership with executive chef Jeremy Price, an hour strength and conditioning session created by Sharapova, followed by a Banya treatment, reflexology and Aman x 111SKIN mask, held in one of the private Aman Spa Houses.

Further immersions and the full itinerary for the Amanpuri Performance & Recovery retreat will be announced soon.
