French hotel giant Accor announced the appointment of Sara Glenn and Benjamin Cadwell as chief operating officers, North & Central America.
In their new roles, Glenn and Cadwell will be responsible for enhancing operational execution, elevating financial results and guest satisfaction, and building long-term value for partners and owners during a time of growth and expansion for Accor in North & Central America. Glenn will maintain responsibility for all hotels in Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, while Cadwell will have oversight for all US properties. Both will also serve on the Accor North & Central America Senior Leadership Team and CODIR (Executive Committee).

Glenn most recently served as senior vice president of operations for Accor North & Central America, where she has played a pivotal role in driving operational performance and excellence, especially in the regionâs road to recovery.
Cadwell joined Accor from Kingdom Hotel Investments, where in his position as executive vice president, asset and investment management, he had oversight of Kingdomâs luxury hospitality investment platform.
Dallas, Texas-based Remington Hotels announced Mauri Berry as vice president of digital marketing. Berry joins Remington Hotels from Peachtree Hotel Group, Atlanta, Georgia, where she served as corporate director of eCommerce.
Ocean House Collection, Westerly, Rhode Island, has appointed Gabby Clark as group director of food & beverage for the Collection and Louise Shapazian as resort manager of the Ocean House property in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Shapazian has served with Ocean House Collection for more than seven years. Clark joined Ocean House in December 2019.
The dual-branded Canopy by Hilton Chicago Central Loop (Canopy Chicago) and Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Central Loop (HGI Central Loop), Chicago, Illinois, announced the appointment of Neil DeGuia to serve as complex general manager and chief enthusiast. DeGuia was previously the general manager at Aloft – Chicago OâHare.
Bridgeton Holdings, New York, announced the appointment of two new assistant general managers at both of its Walker properties: Christoph Duerrbeck for Walker Hotel Greenwich Village and Katherine Woods for Walker Hotel Tribeca. Prior to joining the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village team, Duerrbeck worked at New York-based Triumph Hotels.
