The Real Deal in New York is reporting on Friday that Highgate, in partnership with Isaac Chetrit’s AB & Sons and Ray Yadidi’s Sioni Group, will acquire the 618-key Affinia Manhattan NYC for US$217.5 million.
The hotel is one of six in New York City at the center of a recent split between Pebblebrook Hotel Trust and Denihan Hospitality Group. Pebblebrook reportedly plans to sell the other New York City asset it took in the Denihan deal, the 252-key Dumont NYC.
Highgate will manage the hotel after the deal closes, supposedly before the end of the year for about US$350,000 a key.
