Ronen Nissenbaum was named the next CEO and president of Tel Aviv, Israel-based Dan Hotels, starting January 1.

Nissenbaum studied hotel management in Switzerland and received an MBA from Emory University. In his last position, Nissenbaum served as Vice President of Luxury operations for Hilton Hotels in the Americas, a grouping that includes the Waldorf-Astoria and Conrad Hotels, and was responsible for 15 hotels and three hotels in pre-opening stages.
Earlier, he was managing director of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York. Other earlier roles include president and CEO of the New York Plaza Group and as senior executive vice president of operations for the Marina Bay Sands casino resort in Singapore. He has also held positions at InterContinental Hotel Group, Forte Hotels and Disneyland Paris.
