Vienna House sale complete: Austrian subsidiary of Thailand’s U City PCL, Vienna House Capital, acquired Vienna House hotels. The sale is expected to be completed by this summer.
Hyatt hotels in Algeria, France: In agreement with Societe d’Investissement Hoteliere EPE SPA, Hyatt Hotels Corporation will open a hotel located at Houari Boumediene Airport in Algeria, the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Algeria. Hyatt also announced an agreement with Hospitality Management Chantilly for a Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chantilly, France. Set to open in 2018, the 210-room hotel will mark the eighth Hyatt-branded hotel and the fourth Hyatt Regency hotel in France.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants announced Wednesay its first property in San Jose, California at Museum Place, a mixed-use development by Insight Realty Co. that will also expand the Tech Museum of Innovation, slated to open in 2021. Museum Place will include a 173-room Kimpton hotel, 300 residential units, retail, restaurants and will increase the size of the Tech Museum by 54,000 square feet.
Holiday Inn to Poland. InterContinental Hotels Group announced Wednesday the signing of the 217-room Holiday Inn Warsaw West Station. The hotel will be developed with franchisee VHM Hotel Management, owned by the Satoria Group SA and investors Capital Park.
