Tribute to Quebec: Starwood Hotels & Resorts added its 10th hotel to its Tribute Portfolio with the Hotel PUR Quebec. The 242-room property, owned by Hotel PUR Quebec LP and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts Canada Company, will be renovated before joining Tribute in early 2017.
Red Lion in California: Red Lion Hotels Corporation signed a franchise license agreement with Triple E Investment Corporation, to convert its High Country Inn to a Red Lion Inn & Suites Susanville in northern California. The 66-room hotel will convert in May.
L.E. adds four properties: L.E. Hotels announced the addition of four properties to its portfolio: The Hotel Los Gatos in northern California, the Grand Hotel Imperiale Resort in Lake Como, Italy, the Hotel Beta Porto in Porto, Portugal, and the Hotel Principe Real in Lisbon. The company also announced that five member properties in California, Arizona, Curacao, Venice and Philadelphia have undergone renovations.
Thai ‘online chain’: More than 1,400 small, independent hotels in Thailand are have signed up to join budget reservation website Nida Rooms. The site is scheduled to launch next month.
Royalton in Jamaica: Royalton Luxury Resorts is opening the 228-room Royalton Blue Waters in Jamaica in November, its second in that country.
