Onefinestay introduces Collections: Short-term home rental company Onefinestay launched Collections, a series of new market launches of its private rentals service, beginning in New York’s Hamptons. Over the next year, Collections will be added in Southern California, the French Riviera, Edinburgh and elsewhere, the company said. AccorHotels acquired the company last year.
Legoland hotel in Dubai: Dubai-based DXB Entertainments and theme part operator Merlin Entertainments Group are developing the first Legoland Hotel in the Middle East, at Dubai Parks and Resorts’ Legoland theme park. Merlin will operate the 250-room hotel. An opening date was not given.

Chelsea’s Bard dies: Stanley Bard, longtime manager and part owner of the storied Hotel Chelsea in New York, died on Tuesday. He was 82. He managed the hotel, which hosted artists and writers from Mark Twain to Sid Vicious, in 1964 and ran it until 2007.

Disney ownership in Paris: Walt Disney Company said it was raising its stake in Euro Disney SCA to 85.7% by acquiring most of Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal’s Kingdom Holding Company’s stake in the troubled Paris Disneyland operator.
Cook cuts hotels: Tour operator Thomas Cook’s U.K. business cut ties with more than 100 partner hotels that it says have failed to meet its standard.
Hilton in discrimination complaint: A complaint filed February 10 in New Jersey’s Superior Court accuses Hilton of unlawful discrimination, alleging the hotel paid a woman less than several male employees for doing the same job.
