Four Seasons expands in Tanzania:  Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has signed a long term management agreement with the owners of Bilila Lodge, a resort in the Serengeti National Park, and is now operating the property, which will be upgraded and renamed Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, Tanzania in fall 2012.

Marriott to enter Sri Lanka:  Marriott International has signed an agreement with Weligama Hotel Properties Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of East West Properties PLC, to open Marriott’s first hotel in Sri Lanka, the Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa in 2014.

Island expands with 7 US hotels:  Island Hospitality Management announced that it has signed seven management contracts for a six-hotel portfolio of Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels owned by Chatham Lodging Trust and an Embassy Suites hotel recently acquired by Clearview Hotel Capital LLC.

Valencia expands in Missouri:  Valencia Group has been chosen to manage a 132-room hotel under construction in Kansas City, set to be called Hotel Sorella and open in 2013.
