The Board of Directors of Baccarat has appointed Neil Jacobs as censor of its Board of Directors.
After leading and driving the growth of Six Senses for more than 13 years, Neil Jacobs founded Wild Origins in 2025, a consulting firm dedicated to creating and supporting projects in the world of hospitality, wellness and sustainable development. In addition, Jacobs was recently appointed as a consultant at the luxury asset management firm Cain International.
“It is an honor to join the Baccarat Board in shaping a new chapter for a Maison that has long embodied refinement and innovation. Together, we aim to translate Baccarat’s extraordinary craftsmanship into hospitality experiences that inspire and transcend,” he said.
Following the 2015 inauguration of the first Baccarat Hotel & Residences in New York under license by Starwood Hotels Group, new Baccarat locations are planned in Rome, Florence, Dubai, the Maldives, Miami and Macao over the next three years. Recent openings include the “Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic” restaurant in Hong Kong in 2023 and the “Ducasse Baccarat” restaurant in 2024.
“Neil’s international expertise and commitment to responsible hospitality are major assets in supporting Baccarat’s development in this sector,” said Bryant Stone, chairman of the Board of Directors of Baccarat.
“The arrival of Neil Jacobs as Censor of the Board of Directors marks a decisive step in Baccarat’s expansion strategy within the hospitality universe. True to its heritage, Baccarat continues to reinvent itself, offering through its experiences the very best of the French art de vivre,” said Laurence Nicolas, CEO of Baccarat.
