Native Places, the U.K.-based lifestyle aparthotel brand, is gearing for expansion and rejuvenation of its portfolio. The brand has announced several new initiatives, including the signing of a new Native hotel in London’s Fulham and the completion of refurbishments at Glasgow.
These announcements follow the announcement of the upcoming of Native King’s Wardrobe, St. Paul’s this April.
When it opens in 2025, Native Fulham Broadway will be the group’s eight aparthotel in its overall portfolio and the fifth in London. The premium property will offer 41 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments.

The hotel will include Counter, a neighborhood space designed by Native Places which will have a bar and lounge and transform into a workspace in the daytime and a cocktail bar in the evening.
Native Places has collaborated with design studio, Youth, to design the new aparthotel.
Besides adding properties to its portfolio, Native Places is also investing in preserving and renovating its existing portfolio to guarantee a consistent high-quality guest experience.
Native Glasgow recently underwent a complete renovation to enhance the guest experience. The redesigned property blends historical architecture with modern services, reflecting Native Places’ strategy of creating unique properties while preserving the building’s individual identity and heritage.

With this continued expansion of its operations, Native Places will add new destinations in the U.K. and beyond, focusing on sustainable growth and offering unique and design-forward aparthotel experiences.
Native Places’ recent success, fueled by its expansion strategy, has resulted in revenue exceeding projections by 25% in 2023 compared to the previous year. The brand is moving towards a promising phase, as it grows its presence further across the U.K., said Olivia Immesi, CEO at Native Places.
“The future of aparthotels worldwide, and in particular in the U.K., is significant with the demand for longer stays one of the swiftest-growing sectors within the hospitality industry,” said Immesi. “Our aparthotels offer multi-purpose, flexible and convenient accommodation; all of which offer better value than the traditional hotel experience.”
Native Places is also focusing on sustainability in the extended-stay sector and is aiming to become a B-Corp listed company. The brand is also aiming for BREEAM rating for all its hotels and partnerships with eco-friendly suppliers.
