Vision Hospitality Group has added Humberto Fermo as the new general manager of the Moxy Boulder, which opened last year near the University of Colorado Boulder campus. The hotel welcomed its first guests last June.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Humberto to the Moxy Boulder, which is proving to be Boulder’s most innovative and exciting hotel concept, ” said Patrick O’Neil, chief operations officer of Vision Hospitality Group. “His extensive experience, strong leadership and innovative approach are the ideal combination to ensure the continued success of this new property.”
Fermo has over 20 years of comprehensive experience in hotel operations, financial management and cross-functional leadership. Most recently, he served as the general manager of Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco in Denver, and before that, he was the general manager at two different Indigo Hotels in Austin, Texas, and Rochester, Minnesota.
“I am thrilled to be joining such a dynamic hotel brand and to be part of the exciting and growing Boulder community,” he said. “Whether it be campus tailgate parties, graduation weekend or the recently announced Sundance Film Festival, the Moxy Boulder is the perfect place for guests to get a quintessential Boulder experience. We look forward to bringing some new, fresh ideas to our guests that focus on unique experiences, service and quality.”
