Marriott International has announced the appointments of Sheila Buciuman as general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage, and Ty Bolton as general manager of Aloft New Orleans.
With over two decades of luxury hospitality experience, Sheila Buciuman joins The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage from The St. Regis Houston, where she served as the general manager. Prior to that, Buciuman expanded her served as the hotel manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, and before that, she was the director of operations at The St. Regis Atlanta.
Buciuma’s journey in the luxury hospitality sector began at The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach, where she advanced through leadership roles before transferring to The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Oconee and Buckhead properties.
Ty Bolton also brings over two decades of hospitality experience to his new role, joining Aloft New Orleans from PeachState Hospitality where he served as area general manager directing operations and financial performance of one property, in addition to overseeing three additional properties within the portfolio. Prior to that, Bolton was the General Manager at Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth Westlake.
