Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris appoints new managing director

Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris has appointed Nicolas Dubort as managing director.

A seasoned luxury hospitality leader, Dubort returns to Paris with more than 25 years of experience across global hotel brands, including Four Seasons, The Peninsula, Dorchester Collection, Waldorf Astoria and Mandarin Oriental. Most recently, he served as general manager of Mandarin Oriental Muscat, Oman, where he spearheaded its opening.

“I am honored to return to Paris to lead the legendary Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, a Palace hotel that embodies both timeless glamour and the contemporary creative spirit of Paris,” said Dubort. “The essence of Le Royal Monceau is intrinsically Parisian, and I look forward to working alongside our great teams to orchestrate unforgettable experiences that feel artfully elegant and unexpected, reflecting the Raffles promise defined by a legacy of gracious hospitality.”

Dubort’s career spans properties across North America, Europe, the Middle East and China. With two decades of hospitality experience throughout the U.S., Dubort’s earlier roles include leading the launch of Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, directing major culinary transformations at Mandarin Oriental New York and overseeing the relaunch of Hotel Bel-Air, Dorchester Collection.

Located near the Champs-Elysées in Paris’ 8th arrondissement, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris was originally built in 1928 and reopened in 2010.
