Remington Hospitality announced the 100th anniversary of La Concha Key West, Autograph Collection, located on Duval Street in Key West, Fla. The property recently completed a renovation and repositioning under Remington’s management.
Opened in 1926, La Concha has hosted a range of visitors over its history. The renovation included updates to guest rooms, public areas and food and beverage venues. The work was completed to align the property with Marriott’s Autograph Collection standards while maintaining its architectural features.
The hotel marked the anniversary with an on-site event that included guests, employees and community partners. Activities included a time capsule ceremony, remarks from hotel leadership, the traditional Conch Call and cocktail demonstrations. The anniversary will continue with events throughout the year.
“Reaching 100 years is a testament to the strength of this asset and the importance of thoughtful stewardship,” said Ben Perelmuter, CEO, Remington Hospitality. “La Concha is a rare property with deep historical significance and irreplaceable location fundamentals. With the renovation complete, our focus is on disciplined execution—driving revenue performance, managing costs, and ensuring the hotel is well positioned to deliver consistent returns and long-term value for ownership.”
As part of the centennial activities, La Concha has established a philanthropic partnership with Reef Relief, a nonprofit based in Key West focused on coral reef conservation. The partnership is part of a series of initiatives tied to the anniversary.
The centennial is part of Remington Hospitality’s management of historic hotel properties that involve renovation, brand alignment and operational performance.
