The investment firm owned by Saudi Arabia’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal sold the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto for C$225 million (US$171.8 million).
Kingdom Holding sold the 259-room, 55-story property to family investment vehicles related to Shahid Khan, the Pakistani-American founder of automobile parts maker Flex-N-Gate Group. Khan is owner of the Jacksonville, Florida, Jaguars U.S. football team and London’s Fulham Football Club.
Kingdom Holdings and Bill Gates’ Cascade Investment each own a 47.5% share of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, which will continue to operate the hotel.
