Regent Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Juan Losada as general manager of Regent Phu Quoc, marking his return to the property.
Losada was part of the opening executive team in the role of pre-opening and opening general manager for Regent Phu Quoc between early 2019 and late 2022. During this former role, he was responsible for developing the hotel strategy, shaping the product and positioning the resort in the Vietnamese and Asian luxury markets.
With more than 15 years in luxury hospitality, Losada joins Regent Phu Quoc from Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol, where he served as pre-opening and opening general manager. Before that, he served as general manager of El Palace Barcelona, part of the Leading Hotels of the World. Some of his previous roles include working with InterContinental Resorts in the APAC region, The St. Regis Singapore and Atlantis Resorts.
