IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée, a 250-room property located in Magny-le-Hongre, near Disneyland Paris. The signing is in partnership with Danish real estate company Proark and is expected to be fully converted in the second half of 2026, expanding IHG’s leisure portfolio and offering access to one of Paris’ top attractions.
Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée will join over 90 existing Crowne Plaza hotels in Europe and 17 additional properties in development, including Crowne Plaza Dushanbe in Tajikistan and Crowne Plaza Istanbul West in Türkiye. The location offers visitors scenic landscapes and local heritage, with opportunities for walks along the Grand Morin and visits to landmarks such as the 11th-century church of Sainte-Geneviève.
“Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring one of the world’s largest premium hotel brands to a landmark leisure destination. France continues to be a key market for IHG, and I’m proud to see our momentum in the premium segment, with over 10 properties open and pipeline in the country. We’re particularly pleased to be partnering with Proark, who have placed their trust in IHG and our Crowne Plaza brand to deliver strong returns for them and this exceptional property. We look forward to welcoming guests from around the world to this spectacular destination when the hotel opens its doors in 2026,” said Willemijn Geels, VP, development, Europe, IHG Hotels & Resorts.

The property will feature indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a wellness area, two restaurants, a social space and a bar. It will also accommodate conferences and gatherings with state-of-the-art meeting facilities, including a ballroom designed for flexibility and functionality.
“This project marks an exciting new chapter for our Magny-le-Hongre property, and we’re proud to embark on this journey with IHG Hotels & Resorts – a partner who shares our values and vision. Once doors open in 2026, Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée will reflect our commitment to modern design and sustainability, to not only meet, but elevate, the guest experience in France,” said Michael Brag, chairman of Magny-le-Hongre Hotel, Proark.
Crowne Plaza is a premium global brand with over 400 properties in city, airport, resort and suburban destinations worldwide. The brand recently underwent a refresh that introduced a new visual identity and enhanced guest programs.
The new hotel will join 70 open Crowne Plaza properties in France and 10 more in development, including the brand debut of IHG’s Vignette Collection in Théoule-sur-Mer, further strengthening IHG’s presence in the country.
