IHG Hotels & Resorts has appointed Neetu Mistry as managing director for its UK & Ireland estate.

Mistry will oversee more than 400 open and pipeline hotels, lead the continued growth and performance of the UK&I and strengthen partnerships across IHG’s owner community. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the hotel industry across UK and European management companies, previously serving as an owner representative for one of IHG’s regional councils. Before IHG, she served as CCO for Cycas Hospitality, an Amsterdam-based hotel management company.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Neetu as our new Managing Director for the UK&I. She brings a unique combination of strategic clarity, operational understanding and deep commercial experience of the vast UK&I market, alongside a genuine passion for people and performance,” said Karin Sheppard, SVP & managing director, Europe, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “She is a highly respected leader with a strong track record of building inclusive, high-performing teams and delivering sustained results. As we looked to the future, Neetu will be invaluable in helping to unlock the full potential of our UK&I business and further strengthening our partnerships with owners.”

As well as working with IHG’s talented teams and valued partners to continue delivering True Hospitality to our guests and long-term growth,” said Mistry.
