Hotel deLuxe in Portland, Oregon, has transformed its surface parking lot into a temporary nine-hole miniature golf course and warm-weather eating and drinking destination.
The 19th Hole is tricked out with custom-made picnic tables, greenery, colorful flowers, umbrellas and even a food cart. Its menu includes putt putt-friendly foods such as hot dogs served on a pretzel bun with spicy mustard and sauerkraut, picnic-style cold fried chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, sliders and street tacos as well as nearly 30 craft beers, Oregon wines and Pacific Northwest ciders available only in cans.

The 19th Hole will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. through summer. Admission is free, and guests who want to golf pay US$6 per person, per round. The space also is available for private events.
