Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, Johor has opened 12 Hello Kitty-themed rooms, designed in partnership with Sanrio, the creator of the fictional cat-like character.
The waterfront hotel, part of the Shangri-La Group, is next door to Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and the Hello Kitty Red Bow Café. The rooms revolve around three themes, including a sailor, the Pink Series and Hello Kitty in Oz.
Décor choices for the sailor-themed rooms, which face the harbor, include Admiral Redbow, The Sailboat, Kitty Jones’ Adventure or Captain Kitty’s Cabin. The Pink Series includes Pink Surprise, Hello Kitty and Tiny Chum, The Boudoir and Ice Cream-dulgence. Hello Kitty in Oz includes Emerald City, Lost Chapter, Tin Cottage and Munchkin Village.
The Hello Kitty-themed rooms are available in deluxe or premier rooms (premier includes bunk beds adjoining a master guestroom). All rooms come with amenities including stationery and embroidered towels and bathrobes.
The Hotel Jen brand has nine locations in Asia Pacific.
