Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd’s Bush is set to open in March. The hotel, once home to the BBC’s Kensington House recording studios, will have 231 rooms and suites, including Signature Suites and Garden Rooms that offer outdoor spaces. Reclaimed and reused materials have been incorporated across the property to reflect responsible design.
The hotel’s interiors subtly reference its past through curated details woven into a contemporary aesthetic, linking the building’s creative heritage with a modern hospitality setting.
Food and beverage are central to the hotel’s concept, with social spaces structured around an open-kitchen restaurant layout. The restaurant, Flock, will feature a statement pizza oven and an all-day dining offering led by Head Chef Sami Saygi, whose diverse background will shape an eclectic menu.
Local partnerships will define the programme, with collaborations planned with West London breweries, distilleries and producers. The hotel will also celebrate local creativity through artwork curated by Art Story, including pieces by surrealist Helga Stentzel and sculptor Helena Lacy, reflecting neighborhood history and creative expression.
Wellness will expand later in 2026 with the launch of K West Spa. The spa will introduce a large-scale thermal suite, two spa gardens, two couples suites, six treatment rooms, a gym and relaxation spaces. Ground Wellbeing products will be used as part of a nature-inspired philosophy. The spa facilities are designed to operate as a destination spa within West London.
Beyond leisure, the hotel will offer flexible co-working spaces designed for modern working and creative collaboration. An events programme will include talks, cultural moments and community-led gatherings throughout the year.
“The opening of Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd’s Bush marks the beginning of a new chapter for one of West London’s most storied buildings,” said Nicolas Braud, general manager of the property. “We’ve been inspired by the neighbourhood’s rich creative and musical heritage and our aim is to create a hotel that feels deeply rooted in its surroundings while offering a contemporary design-led experience for both visitors and the local community. This is about honoring the past while setting a new benchmark for lifestyle hospitality in the area.”
The property is located near Shepherd’s Bush Green, Westfield London and major transport links, positioning it within easy reach of retail, public spaces and transit connections. Room rates will start from £253 per night. Further details will be revealed in the months ahead.
