Hotel Bourré Bonne opens in Louisville under Hilton’s Curio Collection

Hotel Bourré Bonne Louisville, Curio Collection by Hilton, has opened in downtown Louisville. Located near the NuLu district, Whiskey Row, the Kentucky International Convention Center and KFC Yum Center Arena, the 168-room hotel includes four suites, 16 deluxe rooms and a rooftop with swimming pool, bar and restaurant.

“Hotel Bourré Bonne is more than just a hotel – it’s a reflection of my deep connection to this city and a commitment to creating a hospitality experience for locals and visitors that feels both timeless and authentic,” said Nick Campisano, Louisville native, founder & CEO, Zyyo. “Every detail has been intentionally designed to celebrate the city’s rich culture while contributing to its continued momentum and vibrancy. With Hotel Bourré Bonne, we bring meaningful experiences that honor the past while shaping the future. I’m incredibly proud to be part of this next chapter for Louisville.”

Named as “a playful nod to Louisville’s famed horse racing culture and the French origins of Kentucky Bourbon,” the hotel’s design was led by Zyyo’s in-house team and Mark Zeff. The exterior features arches referencing the cast-iron facades of downtown. Interiors include raw concrete, custom woodwork and earth tones. An oxidized horse head sculpture stands at the entrance, and deconstructed bourbon barrels line the lobby ceiling.

“Hotel Bourré Bonne is a celebration of Louisville’s rich heritage, bringing together the best of its past and present,” said Morty Valldejuli, general manager. “From the inspired design to the bespoke culinary offerings, we have crafted an experience where guests can truly immerse themselves in the spirit of the city, whether they’re here to explore Bourbon Country, celebrate a special occasion or simply unwind in a cosmopolitan setting. We look forward to ushering in a new era of hospitality in Louisville.”

Dining options include Steakhouse Bourré Bonne and Rooftop Bourré Bonne, both developed by restaurateur Kevin Grangier. The steakhouse offers “a menu inspired by French cuisine, expertly paired with Kentucky’s finest bourbons and an exquisitely curated wine list.” The rooftop bar and restaurant includes “an all-day menu of chili crunch shrimp, Kentucky fried sliders, truffle deviled eggs with caviar, and seasonal popsicles.”

“Hotel Bourré Bonne marks a special milestone for us as we continue to expand our management portfolio with hotels that offer a rich experience for guests to enjoy,” said Alinio Azevedo, managing director, luxury and lifestyle at Driftwood Capital. “The property’s unique position in Downtown Louisville, coupled with its best-in-class development and culinary teams, create a compelling opportunity for us to showcase our lifestyle capabilities that elevate the notion of what hospitality should look and feel like. We look forward to the opening of this hotel and having a profound impact on this community.”

The hotel includes more than 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including two boardrooms, a ballroom with views of the Ohio River and Whiskey Row, and a pre-function area with bar and rooftop access.
