Study Hotels has opened its second property, The Study at University City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The 10-story 212-room hotel was designed by Philadelphia-based DIGSAU Architects and developed by New York-based Hospitality 3, which also owns the property. Sebastian Gressier serves as the hotel’s general manager.
Both public spaces and guestrooms have a bright, uplifting palette, reflective of contemporary residential living. The Study living room features a café and an adjacent art gallery showcases local artists and student work on a rotating basis.
CO-OP, the hotel’s restaurant and lounge, offers urban dining with an emphasis on seasonal and local ingredients. Led by Philadelphia resident Chef Craig Russell, the menu is inspired by historical maritime and agricultural community lifestyles.
The hotel will also offer over 7,000-square-feet of event and social catering space including a banquet salon and a suite of oversized conference studios. Event terraces allow guests campus and city views. The hotel also features a fitness center with studio class programs available.
