Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts opened the Swissôtel Dresden Am Schloss, its fourth hotel in Germany earlier this year.
The property has 235 guestrooms, all with free Internet access. The hotel is managed by Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts under a lease agreement signed with the developer Baywobau DD Schloßhotel GmbH & Co. KG in 2008.
Wohnstube restaurant serves contemporary Swiss cuisine with regional and seasonal products, while The Schlossbar serves cocktails, regional beers, and other beverages.
The 5,760 sq ft (535 sq m) Pürovel Spa & Sport area offers fitness facilities as well as massages featuring essential oils from Alpine herbs and meadow flowers. The wellness and fitness area includes a vaulted cellar that dates to the 15th century.
The property also offers a roof garden with views across the roofs of Neumarkt and roughly 5,382 sq ft (500 sq m) of conference rooms.
The Swissôtel Dresden Am Schloss is located across from the Residence Castle and is within walking distance of the Semper Opera, Swinger Palace and Frauenkirche.
