Sofitel Luxury Hotels has opened its first hotel in Abu Dhabi and its second in the United Arab Emirates: Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche.
The property’s 282 rooms and suites blend modern Arabic design and contemporary French style.
The hotel has six restaurants and bars, including Corniche All Day Dining, which serves French and Middle Eastern food; La Mer, serving Gulf seafood; Silk and Spice, which serves contemporary Thai cuisine; Jazz’N Fizz Bar, with live music; Le Café, which offers authentic French pastries, chocolates and other sweets; and Chill’O pool bar and terrace.
Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche also includes So FIT, a swimming pool on the terrace, ten meeting rooms and a ballroom. The So SPA features five treatment rooms, two hammams with private baths, a scrub and deep relaxation room, a dry sauna and a steam room.
The property is part of the new Capital Plaza Complex.
