Hot Opening: Paradisus Los Cabos

Melia Hotels International is transforming Melia Cabo Real into the new Paradisus Los Cabos following a $35 million renovation. Upon opening in December, this will be the fourth Paradisus Resort in Mexico.

It features 350 guestrooms including ocean view swim-up suites, family concierge suites and 98 Royal Service guest rooms, which is the brand’s signature adult-only offering, providing butler service. It also offers Family Concierge suites.

The resort will also feature a fine dining restaurant, Passion by Martin Berasategui, where guests will get to experience world-class cuisine by seven Michelin star-rated chef Martin Berasategui.

Paradisus Los Cabos is set on 14.5 acres surrounded by a private golf course (Cabo Real Golf Course) and mountains. In addition, the resort offers four swimming pools, three bars and six restaurants, featuring a variety of international cuisines.

Restaurant options include Naos Fresh Market (international buffet), Bana (contemporary Asian), Market Grill (Italian-Argentinian), Mole (modern Mexican), and La Palapa (exclusive poolside Royal Service grill). The resort’s bars and lounges include Avenue Bar, Wet Bar Swim-up Pool Bar and GABi, a two story beach club with a roof top terrace overlooking the ocean.

The resort’s convention center will open next spring and offer a ballroom with auditorium-style capacity for up to 1,100 people and ten breakout rooms. There are also a variety of open areas on property providing multiple settings for events, such as gardens, pools and an oversized beach area accommodating up to 3,000 people. The resort offers a beachside Wedding Gazebo.
