McNeill Hotel Company and Kothe Real Estate Partners have started construction on a Home2 Suites by Hilton in Twin Falls, Idaho. The 124-key property is being developed at 2005 Neilson Point Place, with the groundbreaking held on August 19.
The project is a joint venture between Kothe Real Estate Partners, based in Madison, Wisc., and McNeill Hotel Company, which will also manage the hotel. McNeill already manages the Hilton Garden Inn Twin Falls and other hotels across the Mountain West. Additional development partners on the project include Great Lakes Management Group, Roost Development, and KP Property Development.
The hotel site is positioned on the south rim of the Snake River Canyon, close to the Perrine Bridge. It offers direct access to the Canyon Rim walking trail and is within walking distance of the Twin Falls Visitor Center, as well as retail and dining options nearby.
“We are excited to be working with Kothe Real Estate Partners on this development.  In addition to nearby services, at the Home2 Suites Twin Falls, hotel guests and the public will be able to enjoy drinks and small plates at the hotel’s expansive outdoor patio bar that will feature awesome views of the sunset over the canyon,” said Brent McDowell, MHC executive vice president of business development.
