JP Roberts has been named general manager at The Statler, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel located in downtown Dallas.
Roberts’ extensive experience in the hotel industry includes overseeing hotels and resorts across the U.S, as well as leading openings and repositionings for brands including 21c Museum Hotels in St. Louis, Dream Hotels in Nashville and Hotel Vandivort in Springfield-Branson, Missouri.
“I’m deeply honored to be joining the team at The Statler. Having spent my entire life in hospitality, and being a bit of a hotel nerd, The Statler holds a significant place in the evolution of the hotel world as we know it and is an icon in and of itself,” he said. “Having the opportunity to lead this team, in a place this special, is an honor, and our goal as a team is to leave our mark on a legacy.”
Managed by Stonebridge, The Statler was built in 1956 and is recognized on the Historic Hotels of America registry as one of the first modern hotels in the U.S. The hotel has been recognized for hosting legendary performances by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, The Jackson 5 and others.
