Hilton Washington DC/Rockville completes major renovation

Driftwood Hospitality Management and District Hospitality Partners have completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center. The project marks the property’s first major renovation in a decade and included upgrades to guestrooms, suites and meeting facilities.

The 315-room hotel, which includes 12 suites and two Presidential suites, underwent a complete update of hard and soft goods across guestrooms, suites and common spaces. The property now offers 35,000 square feet of meeting and event space across 25 venues. The hotel remained operational throughout the renovation.

“This multimillion dollar renovation underscores Driftwood Hospitality Management’s commitment to revitalizing properties in our portfolio while enhancing the guest experience at every level. The Hilton Washington DC/Rockville is a cornerstone asset for DHM, and these upgrades ensure that we continue to deliver best-in-class accommodations and meeting facilities for both business and leisure travelers in the D.C. metropolitan area,” said Bryan Postema, COO at Driftwood Hospitality Management.

Located at 1750 Rockville Pike, the hotel is near the Twinbrook Metro Line with access to downtown Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas.

“We’re proud to elevate the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville to meet the evolving needs of today’s travelers, and this renovation positions the property at the forefront of hospitality excellence in the D.C. area,” said Fred Malek, managing director District Hospitality Partners owner of the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville.
