Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos has introduced Rhythm and Motion, which it is billing as the world’s first fully immersive music-centric spa menu utilizing amplified vibrations, pressures and patterns as the foundation of its treatments.
With Rhythm and Motion, massage therapists synchronize movements with curated playlists in an effort to connect music’s healing power with massage therapy. Specific treatments include Synchronicity, which combines music’s greatest hits with natural organic essential oils, and Smooth Operator, a two-part treatment that starts with the rhythmical Sweetgrass-inspired dry brushing and closes with a detoxifying wrap.
Calling Rhythm and Motion “a spa experience more Zeppelin than Zen,” Dale Hipsh, senior director of operations development at Hard Rock International, added, “We looked to amp up the traditional spa menu to leave our guests energized and pumped up … the way a concert-goer feels after seeing a mind-blowing show.”
