Hard Rock International Inc., Orlando, Florida, announced on Tuesday that it is partnering with Paper City Development LLC, Springfield, Massachusetts, to develop and manage a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Holyoke, Massachusetts pursuant to the proposed legislation to bring gaming to in the New England state.
“We are thrilled to be working with Paper City Development to bring the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino brand to Massachusetts,” said Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International.
The casino’s development is contingent on the approval of casino licenses by the Massachusetts in the state government, which is in the midst of being approved after different versions of the bill were approved by the state’s two legislative houses.
