Ground LVL, the Bethesda, Md.-based project management company, has officially launched.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of HEI Hotels and Resorts, Ground LVL will provide the hospitality industry with a single point of contact for owners, developers and investors looking for a smooth process from ideation to planning, execution and hand-off.
The new company will serve as a one-stop-shop, with expertise in design and construction, selection of services and an owner/operator point of view. From inception to completion, the company aims to be the only project resource needed by clients.
The company’s team includes experienced professionals, industry connections and assurance to deliver timely, on-budget results. The team has worked with select, full-service and luxury properties that have given them front and back-of-house experience.
“Coming from an owner/operator background, we set out to create the project management firm we always wanted to partner with,” said Scott Hammons, Ground LVL president. “Our veteran team is experienced with select, full-service, luxury, branded and independent properties, possessing the front and back-of-house expertise to turn every aspect of an asset into a value creator.”
Experienced in tactical project execution and enterprise-level program management, Hammons most recently ran DiamondRock Hospitality’s Design & Construction program of creative repositioning, renovation, building infrastructure investments and capital planning.
Since the past eight months, Hammons has leveraged his knowledge and cross-industry relationships to put together an experienced, talented team to design, build and execute projects, said Anthony Rutledge, CEO and managing partner, HEI Hotels & Resorts.
