NASHILLE, TENNESSEE Gaylord Hotels is launching a promotion called Rooms for Good in which 10% of revenue from packages booked under the promotion will be donated to a designated charity.
The package rate, bookable at microsite RoomsForGood.com, starts at US$179 per night and includes accommodations and breakfast for two.
“Our hotels have become known as the destinations of choice to celebrate life’s special occasions, and we work very hard to make all of those visits special, memorable and, of course, meaningful, ” says Amy Atkinson, Gaylord’s vice president of leisure marketing and public relations. “Rooms for Good adds another level of meaning to the experience of staying with us, and we’re thrilled to be engaged with all of our charity partners in this very important program. Now our guests can enjoy a great experience while knowing that they are also contributing a part of their hotel stay to a cause about which they care. It’s a win-win.”
In addition to raising money for nonprofit organizations, Gaylord will aim to raise awareness of the cause through traditional marketing and social media outreach.
