G6 Hospitality employs AI to improve hotel safety, deter human trafficking

G6 Hospitality, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6, has announced a partnership with Protect24.ai, a security intelligence platform designed for the hospitality industry. The collaboration aims to enhance safety measures across the company’s more than 1,500 locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Protect24.ai will reportedly provide G6 Hospitality franchisees with early visibility into suspicious activity, reputational risks and potential criminal exposure. The platform enables timely and informed decision-making to address emerging risks.

Protect24.ai helps detect unusual foot traffic, identify potential escort or illicit activity, track high-risk visitors, cross-reference missing person data, flag unauthorized hotel image use, and provide a safety hotline offering real-time guidance for staff on alerts and reporting.

“This partnership with Protect24.ai is a direct investment in guest safety,” said Sonal Sinha, CEO of G6 Hospitality. “We are committed to equipping our franchisees with the tools and technology they need to stay ahead of emerging threats and protect their businesses, employees and guests.”

The initiative reflects G6 Hospitality’s ongoing approach to adapting to changing safety and security challenges, ensuring a consistent standard of awareness and response across its network. By integrating advanced intelligence capabilities, franchisees gain practical insights to identify risks early and act appropriately.

With over 1,500 properties across the U.S. and Canada, the partnership represents a significant step in supporting operational safety at scale, while also providing staff with actionable guidance and resources to maintain secure environments for all guests and visitors.
