Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has opened Fairmont Hanoi, the brand’s first hotel in Vietnam. The property is located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter near Hoàn Kiếm Lake and is owned by GELEX Group.
Fairmont Hanoi includes 241 guest rooms, 38 Fairmont Gold rooms and 12 suites. The hotel also features eight restaurants and bars, a wellness facility and the largest pillarless ballroom in the Old Quarter.
The property was designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design. Its design references Hanoi’s relationship with the Red River and draws from cultural rituals, spirituality and the surrounding Old Quarter. The Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long is also cited as a design influence.
“It is with immense pleasure that we welcome guests to Fairmont Hanoi, marking our inaugural property in Vietnam and unveiling a distinctive new destination for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
