Expedia and Groupon’s new joint venture Groupon Getaways, which offers flash sales on hotel stays, went live on Wednesday.
Deals being offered on the website for this week include deep discounts for stays at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Omni Cancun Hotel & Villas and The Tower Club at Lebua in Bangkok among other international destinations.
The deals follow the Groupon model of being available for a limited time and quantity with a discount rate of about 50%.
