Accor launches Emblems Collection in UK

Accor has launched Emblems Collection, a new global portfolio of luxury hotels, with the debut of its first property in the United Kingdom. Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa, Emblems Collection, located in the Wiltshire countryside within the British Cotswolds, becomes the flagship hotel for the brand. Accor also confirmed six additional openings scheduled over the next two years.

“Emblems Collection is built around the essence of understated, quiet luxury – where true elegance lies in a timeless sense of exclusivity and intimacy. We carefully select iconic properties and destinations that allow our guests to reconnect with themselves, far from the noise of everyday life. In a fast-paced world, we value privacy and tranquillity, offering sanctuaries where luxury isn’t loud, but deeply felt. Each Emblems Collection hotel embodies authenticity, grace, and soul – because it’s not just beauty that defines a place; it’s the soul that makes it unforgettable. It’s the soul that makes Emblems,” said Maud Bailly, CEO Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems Collection.

Each hotel in the Emblems Collection reflects a character-rich identity connected to its destination. Properties range from heritage mansions to modern architectural structures and nature-based retreats. The collection follows a philosophy focused on intimate stays through design craftsmanship and ties to local heritage and landscape.

Each Emblems Collection hotel highlights a single Emblematic Ingredient chosen for its cultural connection and relationship with the land. This element appears through guest workshops, amenities and menus developed around regional traditions. The ingredient is also reflected in the brand’s Travel Cake created in collaboration with Korean Chef Yun Eunyoung. Seven core recipes are shared across the collection along with one unique recipe per property.

Literature is also part of the guest experience through Emblems Editions, a curated collection of novels, poems, essays and letters inspired by each destination. Service is overseen by The Master of the House who manages the guest experience from arrival to departure.

Lucknam Park becomes the first completed Emblems Collection property. The estate has more than 900 years of history and sits within 500 acres of countryside six miles from Bath. The property includes two restaurants including a Michelin-starred venue led by Head Chef Hywel Jones, a spa, an equestrian center and formal gardens. The hotel has 42 individually designed rooms and suites and nine cottages.

In 2026, Emblems Collection will expand to Canada with Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection following a full renovation. The same year Masseria Furnirussi in Puglia will open with around 60 suites. Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti in Siena will also open in 2026 with 38 rooms including 27 suites. Relais San Clemente near Perugia will reopen as a 51-key estate with nine villas.

In 2027, Elatos Resort in Greece will open with 42 chalets and 15 rooms. Bellevue Hotel Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy will also join the collection with 80 rooms and a 500-square-meter spa.

Accor stated that seven properties are already signed across Europe and the Americas with more than 15 additional projects under discussion worldwide.
