Don Carlos Marbella, an oceanfront hotel located between Marbella and Malaga, has appointed Jorge Manzur as its new general manager, following its summer 2025 reopening after a €45 million renovation led by Selenta Group.
Manzur brings more than two decades of leadership experience across global luxury brands, including Le MĂ©ridien, InterContinental Hotels Group, Westin Hotels & Resorts and notable general manager roles at Puente Romano Marbella and Anantara Villa Padierna.
Selenta Group CEO Albert Tomás said that Manzur’s arrival reflects the company’s commitment to its “constant pursuit of excellence, strengthening the newly reopened Don Carlos Marbella’s global profile and reinforcing its position as a benchmark of Mediterranean luxury”.
Part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Don Carlos Marbella features 284 rooms and suites, along with 24 residences with panoramic sea and garden views. The hotel also features tennis matches and training at the on-site Rafa Nadal Tennis Center.
