Crestline adds hotels in Miami, LA to management portfolio

Crestline Hotels & Resorts, LLC has grown its management portfolio of luxury boutique hotels by adding two hotels — The Delphi in downtown Los Angeles (earlier known as The Standard Hotel) and the Waldorf Towers in Miami Beach, Fla.

Both properties recently underwent enhancements to honor their history while creating contemporary and innovative spaces for guests.

“Each of these properties are architectural gems within their communities and share a unique design and history that were diligently retained and enhanced by our design teams,” said James Carroll, president and CEO of Crestline. “As a management company, Crestline brings unique expertise in reimagining lifestyle hotels such as el PRADO in Palo Alto, Calif. and the Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. The addition of The Delphi and Waldorf Towers helps secure our position as a leader in managing independent luxury hotels,” Carroll said.

Founded in 2000, Crestline is an independent hospitality management company. The Fairfax, Va.-based company currently manages 127 hotels, resorts and conference centers totaling more than 18,000 rooms across 30 states and the District of Columbia.

THE DELPHI

The Delphi comprises 207 rooms and 10,000 square feet of event space and is located near the LA Convention Center. The hotel will launch five new restaurant and bar concepts in the next 12 months, including the complete renovation and reimagination of the rooftop pool and lounge.

Denae’s Diner, a retro all-day diner, is expected to open this summer with a curated menu and outdoor seating.

The hotel offers rooms, suites and two penthouses featuring closets, bathtubs, floating desks, large-screen TVs and mirrors.

The 12-story building first opened in 1955 as the headquarters for Standard Oil. The hotel has been redesigned by the creative team at Ellis Adams Group.

A historic building on South Beach’s Ocean Drive, the Waldorf Towers is an Art Deco building that offers just 43 rooms. The hotel is close to shopping and entertainment districts, like Lummus Park, Muscle Beach and the Collins Avenue Shopping District.

The hotel was designed by architect Albert Anis in 1937. The redesigned hotel retains the original eclectic vibe, including the signature rooftop lighthouse above the northeast corner.

The hotel includes an on-site, al fresco restaurant, ICON.
