Vacation rental CozySuites acquires Roami

CozySuites, which provides fully furnished vacation rentals, has acquired Roami, a hospitality brand combining hotel operations with vacation rental management. The acquisition, which closed in late August, adds Miami and New Orleans to CozySuites’ national footprint.

CozySuites, founded in 2017, operates in 10 cities including Dallas, Phoenix, Atlantic City and Nashville. Roami adds 20 new buildings. The Roami brand and booking portal will remain while CozySuites integrates its corporate sales platform. Staff at Roami properties will remain while Andreas King Geovanis, founder and CEO at Roami, will join CozySuites as an advisor.

“The opportunity to add properties in Miami and New Orleans to the CozySuites offering is what made acquiring Roami an easy decision,” said Victor Chen, co-CEO at CozySuites. “Andreas and his team have built a brand and guest experience that mirrors our mission and has made the transition and integration smooth for all.”

“Much to our delight, the bidding process to acquire Roami was quite competitive which is a testament to the brand we built, the team we assembled and the mission we set out to accomplish,” said Andreas King Geovanis, founder and CEO at Roami. “Our properties and our brand are in good hands with the CozySuites team and I’m excited to help them with the integration over the coming months.”

Founded in 2016, Roami, formerly Sextant Stays, was created to provide travelers with an alternative to cramped hotels or unpredictable vacation rentals by managing entire buildings for a consistent stay.
