Burj Al Arab takes iPads to the next level of luxury

Although an increasing number of hotels have started providing iPads to guests, Burj Al Arab in Dubai has put a luxurious twist on this amenity.

The hotel, which is managed by Jumeirah Group, is offering a 24-carat gold Gold & Co. London iPad to every guest at check-in. The gold iPads were designed specifically for Burj Al Arab and engraved with the hotel’s logo.

“Our exclusive Burj Al Arab 24-carat gold iPads epitomize Jumeirah’s philosophy of ‘stay different’ and further enhance our guests’ experience during their stay,” said General Manager Heinrich Morio.

The 24-carat gold iPad also will be available for purchase at Burj Al Arab’s bespoke boutique alongside similar technology such as the gold iPad mini, gold iPhone 5 and gold BlackBerry Q10.
